CAUL Research Repository Community Event 2017 will be a single day on Monday 26 June to coincide with OR2017

The 2017 event program is now available:

Conference Dinner

A dinner at St Lucy Cafe will be organised if there is enough demand at an additional cost of approximately $35 per person (the cost is not included in registration). St Lucy Cafe is approximately 10-15 minutes walk from the event venue.


The call for registrations email was sent out on Wednesday 26 April to the CAUL list and the CAIRSS list.

Registration is $130 per person (including GST, confirmed) which includes meeting catering, and drinks & nibbles in the evening. An optional conference dinner is may be arranged if there is sufficient demand for approximately $35 per person.

There is a guaranteed place for each CAUL/CONZUL institution until May 19.

Note: invoices will be sent out closer to the event, or shortly after. Payment is not required prior to the event. CAUL does not currently accept credit card payments.

Getting there

It takes approximately 15 minutes by car/taxi to reach St Lucia campus from Brisbane CBD, or 25 minutes from Brisbane Airport. For information about getting to the venue by public transport: http://www.uq.edu.au/maps/directions.html?menu=1

Public transport: We recommend Translink’s Journey Planner if you want to use public transport (train from airport + short bus ride, then walk around the UQ lakes to the venue)
Enter ‘End location’ as ‘UQ Lakes Station’. You can purchase public transport tickets at the station or on the bus.  Locals use the ‘Go Card’, and you can purchase one of these at any train station and most main bus stations now. Taxi: taxi from the airport to the Cooper Road access to the Hawken Building (#50).  You access Cooper Road via Sir William MacGregor Drive, then College Road.
